Austin HugginsFLM Missionary
Director of Missions VPO |
After some time in the US Navy as a Sonar Technician aboard Submarines, Austin moved to Panama City to be near his ailing mother as she fought a losing battle with lung cancer. Her loss was one of several during a brief period where this young man was faced with his own weaknesses and hopelessness. During this period of great breaking, The Lord Jesus Christ transformed a prideful and perverse drunkard into a humble witness of the cross. Today by God's redeeming grace, Austin labors as a preacher, a missionary, and a pastor.
Austin currently serves FirstLove Missions as the Director, and serves Christevangel.org as pastor. He is the honored husband of Mrs. Britney and the father of two boys. |
Tom SmithFLM Missionary
Regional Manager: U.S. East Coast |
Tom Smith was raised in New Jersey and came to Christ as a teenager through the youth ministry at the Presbyterian Church his family attended in 1972. As he studied God’s Word and was taught through the messages of Pastor Al Martin from Trinity Baptist Church, God opened his eyes to understand the Doctrines of Grace and the sovereignty of God in all things. He also was convicted of Baptist principals, and was “rebaptized” and became a member of Trinity Baptist Church in 1975. He then moved to Virginia in 1977 and became a member of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Dale City, Virginia. He continued to learn and grow through the ministry of the church and its pastor, Robert Gifford. Over the past 40 years as an active member of the church, Tom has been involved in organizing and teaching Sunday school for children and adults, organizing Vacation Bible School, and as a song leader and choir director. He was recently ordained as an elder of the church in March 2018. He and his wife Margaret have four children and six grandchildren.
Tom currently serves as the East Coast Regional Manager for Firstlove Missions. His gifts are in teaching, counseling and administration |
Brian LuznyFLM Missionary
Regional Manager: U.S. West Coast |
Brian’s story began in December 1989, when The Lord saved him and gave him new life in Christ. He praises the Lord continually for sending a faithful preacher to proclaim the truth about his sin, the necessity of repentance, and the reality that Jesus must be his Lord and Savior. All by the grace of God, Brian now sees the need for preaching the Word, and for the power that being faithful to Scripture brings. It was upon hearing the precious words of that faithful preacher that the Spirit quickened Brian and gave him new life. There, he had finally found that peace with God, having passed from death unto life. It is now his chief goal to share the glorious truths of life with Christ to the lost. He thanks the Lord daily for saving his soul and desires to live out that thankfulness as a FirstLove missionary, carrying the message of hope to a lost and hopeless world.

Alaba AjileyeFLM Missionary
Nigeria (Lead) |
Brother Alaba is a native of Nigeria, a member of Sovereign Grace Bible Church of Lagos, and a dear brother in The Lord. He first heard the good news of the gospel in 1989 when in grade 7. He believed he had açcepted Christ in his own wisdom but never had victory over sin until 1999, when the Lord convicted him and did a genuine work of conversion. He, however, joined a Pentecostal church in Lagos, where he remained until 2006.
Both he and his wife left the charismatic church and went into full time missionary work after resigning from their secular jobs, joining a non denominational missions agency. His father in law, Pastor Longe was very instrumental in leading his wife and I to the doctrines of grace. They then decided to join Sovereign Grace Bible Church of Lagos in 2014 with the desire to serve and submit themselves to the local church authority. Alaba first met Pastor Joe Jacowitz in 2015 and in 2017 was invited to join the work of FLM. "I am strongly convinced to run with this vision, due to my background in missionary work. My desire is to join this vision in spreading the gospel to the 10/40 window countries like Nepal, India, African countries etc." |
Ben WaldenFLM Missionary
Warehouse Manager Emeritus |
Ben Walden resides in Versailles, Kentucky with his lovely wife, Elaine, and together they have one daughter, Hope, who is a student at Asbury University. The Waldens spent many years as horse breeders. Together, they have bred over 100 stakes winners.
Ben came to Christ at a very young age, knowing even then that he was a chief sinner in a little body. When anyone in high school asked him, “What are you going to do or be?,” he would answer; “I want to be a pastor.” As he reached college age, the “cares of this world” pulled him away from that desire, and he later entered the agricultural business of raising horses. Ben considers himself a prodigal story. Being a FirstLove Missionary is a beautiful picture of God’s grace to him. Ben first joined FirstLove in April 2017 where he traveled to the Philippines to participate in the annual missions conference. Since that time, Ben officially joined the missions team as a FirstLove Missions missionary in August 2017 and has also served as the warehouse and processing manager for FirstLove Publications in Versailles, Kentucky. |
Jacob GonzalesFLM Missionary
|
Jacob was born and raised in a conservative home in Houston, Texas but did not learn much about Christ. As a young adult, he gradually moved away from his conservative beliefs, looking for purpose in philosophy, socialism, and hedonism. He fell into heavy substance abuse.
Through a series of preordained events, God sovereignly saved him in January of 2015. Since then, he has been compelled by the love of Christ to preach the Gospel to all people. After moving to and spending some time in the San Francisco Bay Area, under the leadership of Joseph Jacowitz, Jacob became involved with FirstLove Publications and Missions. Now, looking to grow in character and the knowledge of the Lord, he resides in Bloomington, Indiana where he attends ClearNote Pastor’s College - under the authority of ClearNote Church in Bloomington. To God be the glory for all that He has done! |
Timothy OliverFLM Missionary
|
Tim was born, raised, and today resides in California. As a young boy, he always called himself a Christian whenever he was asked to what religion he subscribed. He believed this to be true, mainly, due to his regular church attendance with his neighbors in Newark. He remembers being so accident prone as a child that he often found himself in the emergency room. While there, he frequently was asked to what religion he belonged, and his reply was always the same: “Christian.” But it was not until 1994, however, that he was converted and truly knew what it meant to be a Christian, for it was then that he had seen the light of Christ Jesus the Lord. In His sovereign grace, he caused Tim to be born-again in the Spring of that year.
Tim was introduced to gospel tract distribution early in his conversion, and it was not long thereafter that he began street preaching with Brother G. Tim was greatly influenced by George Whitefield and George Muller. It was the latter’s ministry especially that placed on his heart a passion to give everything pertaining to the gospel just as freely as he received it. By God’s grace, Tim founded CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS MINISTRIES in 1994 (www.JESUSisCREATOR.org) and has been proclaiming the gospel ever since via tracts and various other forms of media. He engages people both one-on-one and through street preaching in the San Francisco Bay Area and abroad. In addition, he has presented lectures at conferences to exhort and edify the saints in sound doctrine to better equip them to “go ye . . .” and present themselves as solid followers of Christ Jesus our Lord. Tim currently leads a weekly Bible study and preaches occasionally at San Quentin Prison and the Bay area Rescue Mission. Also, he is happily married to his dear wife, Rufina Oliver. |
Gerard LimtiacoFLM Missionary
|
Although Gerard’s official name is Gerard V. Limtiaco, you can just call him “Brother G” for short. Hew is a long time member of Christ Bible Church in Pleasanton.
Born In 1966, in San Francisco, he presently resides in the small town of Newark, located in the southeast bay of San Francisco. Brother G’s loving parents came from Guam and raised him in the family tradition of Roman Catholicism. He was baptized as an infant and was catechized for 10 years before he was confirmed into the Roman Catholic Church at the age of 15. He never questioned his religious upbringing until he was 24 when he suffered a personal crisis. It was during this crisis that he was brought into the horrifying awareness that life was temporary and, therefore, meaningless. Brother G knew his only hope in coming out of it was to find an eternal meaning to life. So, like many of the saints before him, he set out on a personal quest to find true and lasting peace and anything that could possibly give him a credible, sound reason for the hope of eternal life without blindly submitting to the trappings of a dead, formal religiosity. It was at this time that one of Brother G’s close friends, named Brian Luzny, been recently born again and began to live consistently by the Bible. Brian also began to witness to Brother G. Brian eventually persuaded him to attend a home Bible study nearby. Brian’s pastor at the time was a young man named Joe Jacowitz who led the home Bible study. Soon afterwards, Brother G’s crisis came to an end. His search for eternal life was fulfilled by the amazing grace of God's word. Christ Jesus became his Lord, Savior, and his first love for all eternity. Since the time of Brother G’s conversion, God has lead him into various sorts of evangelistic ministries, which has proved to be a tremendous spiritual blessing for him. God eventually lead him to evangelize on a consistent basis at the University of California in Berkeley. By open-air preaching, Bible studies, and with the free assistance of FirstLove Publications, he has been blessed to see inward and outward fruit at the Berkeley campus. It is his prayer, burden, and hope that God will save many students on that campus as he continues to labor faithfully as a FirstLove Missions missionary. |
Larry DuboisFLM Missionary
FirstLove Radio Host |
In 1978, Lawrence was not looking for God, but after accepting an invitation to a Bible study, it was then that he heard about Christ. Lawrence was saved much like Cornelius in Acts chapter 10, for it was immediately upon hearing the Word of God that the Spirit move in him, and he was born again. He knew his life would never be the same, and although perplexed at what had just happened, exclaimed, “I believe!” Since then, by God’s grace, his love for Jesus Christ has grown considerably. A far greater testimony is His love and faithfulness to Lawrence, being proven many times. He would also have to say, strangely enough, that divine chastening is one of the greatest blessings he has experienced in his life.
Over the years, Lawrence has been involved in jail and prison ministry, ministry to the homeless, hospital ministry, nursing home ministry, and a number of other evangelism opportunities in the San Francisco Bay area. He began the public proclamation (open-air preaching) of the gospel in 2006 and became full time in the ministry in 2013. Although he considers the San Francisco Bay Area his home, Lawrence has been traveling the United States street preaching since January 2015. Living out of his camper van, he preaches the gospel in towns and on the streets of major metropolitan areas. Lawrence considers becoming an inaugural missionary for FirstLove Missions to be the beginning of a new and great adventure. He cannot wait to see what God will continue to do. Bro. Larry DuBois hosts the program "Sharing Your Faith" on FirstLove Radio. |
